Introduction

We were asked to create a basic logo for the existing logo. This was a logo design challenge. The customer was a multinational firm of natural stone and wanted a more horizontal simple logo for their organization. For our staff, this was tough yet interesting and we reviewed Mr. Bernardo Cendán's details. The customer also gave us the color scheme they used to introduce them in greater detail beforehand. For the bills and related materials, the customer needed the logo.

Research

Luckily, the customer gave us competitors with comparable logos. It was therefore easy for us to get a clearer view of companies which were in the same field and ensure our customers also had the same yer-cover logo which may help them look relevant and stay focused, as well as a more advanced and competitive brand. We also conducted further research on similar worldwide competitors who can take a look at the topic and interpret the topic for our clients in the same business. The color combination a well as the logo message which the client might infer was kept in mind and assumed to be thought-provoking and going along with the brand slogan “stone by nature”.

User Personas

As the firm was built on natural stones and made them an aspect of worldwide sales, we decided that an average user would not be limited to any area or territory. In addition, we have recourse to the logo's provision of a globe in order to give a multinational look to the business of our customer. The ordinary user has been supported by the fact that they range from adults to adults who are fond of stones and aware of the technique. The main draw for them was the world's blue logo.

Solution

The customer asked for its brand to be internationalized and to follow the global line of business. In addition, they asked to incorporate the worldwide natural stones into the logo. We thoroughly investigated and used the specifics of our competitors as well as of other worldwide operators to use a square yet elongated logo featuring the name of global natural pillars to better explain the brand and its operation. The design also incorporated the global brand and the GNS initials were added to underline the name of the company and to reaffirm its business area. This was a blue theme for an enlightening effect on the stones and dirt together and exactly according to our satisfied customer's specifications and requests. The color RGB (17, 61, 103) was suggested and used for their production of template meanwhile we also tried some other similar shades to ensure picture perfect final version. The rectangular aspect was kept in mind and the rounded globe was developed as per the client’s usages. The icons used were the globe for better representation of the business mode the company was working on. Moving on to the word mark, it explicitly emphasized on the development of company core values and use of GNS and using globe within the word marks to enhance the company vision. The brand identity was executed perfectly and the logo which was minimalist version of what they required was developed for their use over invoices. And business documents
